Due to his supernatural abilities, super strength, and near immortality, he is one of the most powerful characters in all of Marvel Comics.

Ghost Rider first appeared in Marvel Spotlight #5 in 1972. He was created by Roy Thomas, Gary Friedrich, and Mike Ploog.
