Chalk Line honors the X-Men with the X-Men Magneto Battle Harrington Jacket!

Magneto was created in Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and first appeared in The X-Men #1 in 1963. A powerful mutant that can control magnetic fields, Magneto is the opposite of the pacifist Professor X; he believes mutants are superior to humans and works towards that end throughout the comics by any means necessary. However, Magneto has been both an anti-hero and superhero at times.

In 1991, Marvel revised the entire lineup of X-Men comic book titles with writer Chris Claremont and relaunched the series. Magneto, and all of the art here, is drawn here by the great Jim Lee for 1991's X-Men #2.

Perhaps best known from the 1992 TV series X-Men: The Animated Series, Magneto will appear in the upcoming X-Men '97 animated series debuting on March 20, 2024.
